Description Proceeds from this coin will be donated to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund.* Designed by retired Texas First-Responder Rod Gregg, this coin is to be minted in an antique brass finished with high relief detail, colorful enamel fills and 3D UV-print elements, this coin will feature a symbolic representation of Texans overcoming the events of the July 2025 Guadalupe River flood which has claimed more than 100 people’s lives across six counties, including several children at an all-girls Christian summer camp on the Guadalupe River, with many more still displaced from their homes. The reverse features a representation of Matthew 5:4, quoting Christ’s beatitude that: “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” Proceeds for this coin are donated to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund: The Kerr County Flood Relief Fund supports urgent relief and long-term rebuilding after the devastating floods of July 4, 2025. Your generosity helps neighbors across our region recover and rebuild. The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country—a 501(c)(3) public charity based in Kerrville—will directly distribute funds to vetted local organizations providing rescue, relief, recovery services and flood assistance.
