Description USA Red Clover is a short lived legume that under the right management can persist up to 3 years. Being deeper rooted than white clovers the red clovers ability to access moisture in dry periods allows for a variety of versatile applications. This general purpose spring producing variety is mainly suited for grazing and hay production. Red clover produces high quality feed in Spring, Summer and Autumn with minimal Winter growth. Agronomic Information: Sowing rate 2-5kg per hectare Can persist 2-3 seasons when managed Suited to well drained, fertile, slightly acid to neutral soils. Rainfall 600mm Seed pricing is per 25kg bag.
